Victoria Bradley US PGA adds great legend

Adults could not be consistently won by the best players in the world these days but throw yet compelling story lines and provide the most exciting golf on Sundays.

Keegan Bradley debut win the game with another previously unsung hero and the way of his success, fight against the return of five shots behind with three holes to play, was always surprising sports theatre.

Triumph of the 25 years in the US PGA, his first grand slam event, meant that the average ranking of four victors important this year is 67, and was the second future of one of the big four winner stood out of the 100 world's best.

Bradley, who is only the second famous golfer in your family, is a proof of life than elders because they are not the only players in the game elite reserve. The nephew of LPGA great Pat Bradley reflected strength in depth that prevails in the pro tour these days.

It is that he strives for live tour of the course United States - level below the national tour which is spawning so many winners in the main timetable only two years ago.

There is a product line of talents who are eager to fit, well educated and determined to loot the riches offered by the most important events of the game.

They also have access to the equipment as it offers generous points of interest and forgive the ball contact and this is used for higher level of the playing field.

There we had a qualifying Club Atlético Atlanta, which was packed with household names only for die hard fans of golf. Bradley was the seventh successive home winner first and 13th different champion in the last 13 grand slam tournaments.

Many players are potential major winners in these days. Does this will facilitate for players such as Luke Donald and Lee Westwood to this Holy Grail, or makes it more difficult?

There was a time when only would be the best challenge of such honours and as the first two in the world two British part of the current elite. But the number of people who have to overcome today is much higher and their frustration at another year passing without claim to greater is palpable.

Tiger Woods plays a shot from amongst the trees.

Considering disputing how many there are in the modern game it is achievement of Tiger Woods to win 14 elderly even more. Ironically, after losing the Court in this miserable way, the former number one (now 33 in the world) appears one of the winners less likely that there is at this time.

Woods has to be playing golf and would make it anywhere. He completed only six-and-half competitive rounds since April and was a fool to suggest he could win in Atlanta. We were idiots still mayor to give credibility to his comments.

It is time for Woods to admit that it is back to a plaza and he has to rebuild his career in the humble way as Andre Agassi did it in the early 1990s. Agassi returned just at the challenger level, collecting their own balls, before climbing to the top of tennis.

Not suitable for the Play-offs of the PGA Tour, Woods must follow a similar path and go to the tournaments that are good for your game, not only the events that are willing to pay inflated rates of occurrence.

Anyway, enough of Woods was only one of the many points of conversation in the final of the year. Another was the fact that a long flat stick - Bradley - one of four large coveted Championships belly putter won for the first time.

As a result, the debate over whether should allow players and use an anchor point to make that a stroke will be restarted. The horse has bolted, however, because Bradley is one of several young stars using these tools and says that it feels perfectly natural.

For the R to & and USGA, retrospective legislation to prohibit putters of belly and broom handles would be even more difficult to impose now.

How was created during Atlanta was another great point of conversation. Design with so much water, fuels that they were real dangers and challenging gross of Bermuda was rather a dimension and the final stretch of holes were brutal - ask poor Jason Dufner.

But nobody could argue with the level of drama that produced Dufner imploded and Bradley recovered with birdies consecutive after apparently blowing their chances with his triple bogey six at the 15th century.

Gave us a climax to the great season for the sports drama is in keeping with the romance of Victoria Clarke at Royal St George's, the Majesty of McIlroy in the Congress and the brilliance of the position of Jacquelin a glory to establish the main 2011 ball rolling in Augusta.

While some champions were not expected to lift larger game trophies, the majors deliver again and appetite for more will be so insatiable as ever when teachers return to see the next spring.

Drama and excitement at Gleneagles

Many dismiss Gleneagles week when compared to other events of the tour held in Scotland - the open Scotland, Dunhill Links Championship and of course the open when they perpetrated here. But the triumph of Thomas Bjorn after a five-man playoff shows this event is captivating in its own right.

Dane victory coming at the expense of George Coetzee, Bernd Wiesberger, Pablo Larrazabal and Mark Foster, was the result of the golf's very own Groundhog Day. Four times teed off on the 18th hole of sudden death - players four times were expelled back down the street to play again.

But the fifth time of asking and only South African Permanent Coetzee on his way, Bjorn held their nerves to win the first prize of £ 235,000.

"I am delighted." Played it the playoff of three last holes could not be more proud. "When I'm under the cosh I feel very good and quiet."

Bjorn had recently turned 40 and this victory sees him climb out of the 50 world's best. He joked: "If life begins at 40 and I have done a very good start!"

For the excitement generated by a play-off, sympathy is also no shortage for the losers, especially Mark Foster.

Holding a lead One Shot up the last he hit a loose unity that led to a bogie and sudden death golf. The pain was evident in the face of English who has not won a Tour event since 2005.

But for a quadruple bogie on the eighth day of opening, Stephen Gallacher would have won by three shots. Instead he finished 10 under - only one outside a playoff spot.

"You can't tell can"? I could bogied other holes. It is more 72, not a hole, "insisted the Scot."

Although solo was missing, the 37-year-old Bathgate player was very happy with his week. "I played well and putting well," he added. "It's just good to be back in contention." "I hope I can keep it".

James ByrneByrne impressed with a final round 71 to finish three under par

A player who are just getting started is James Byrne. The amateur of Banchory played an excellent debut in a pro event by carding 71 to finish on three under par.

"I am very happy," said the 22 years of age. "The goal was simply to make the cut."

Byrne, earlier this month was elected to the GB & I Cup Walker, now go and work on his game. "They (professionals) are so constant and barely missed the fairways," he said. "I thought that playing steady golf and I'm around 10 shots out of the head".

If Byrne represents the future, then, fans spinning principles of the centenary course who thought that they were witnessing the past.

Cuarenta-Ocho - year-old Colin Montgomerie cut a figure lone throw himself at 7.20 am. First without a partner due to injury Monty was all 74 to finish his 'home' event in six over par.

An unhappy Montgomerie, who is President of this event, not was seen then muddy outside day 18.

Until the week which saw play delayed by fog and disturbed by wasps he has produced a worthy winner Thomas Bjorn.

It is seen as a strong contender for the captain of the Ryder Cup team when the event is staged on the PGA centenary course in 2014.

His experience of the 18th can be very valuable!
