Rose feels at home in Wentworth

Justin RoseRose turned professional in 1998that Justin Rose of Hook says he feels at home when playing in Wentworth, the venue for this week PGA Championship.

The 30 year old, is currently 29 in the world standings, finished 10th in last year's event.


Rose told the BBC Surrey: "returning to Wentworth always it is special to me, is my old Club".


"He grew up in the area and came to see the PGA from about the age of eight years." "I am always here have good feelings and good memories."


He added: "this tournament always gets good crowds and area always get good support."


"I think they have softened some of the changes of the past year." "The word on the street is the changes that have been made are for the better, for what I'm looking forward to seeing the course".


Rose heated for the PGA Championship by playing in a Pro-Am event in the course of Surrey on Monday in support of the foundation of Seve Ballesteros.


"Seve meant a lot for golfers from all over the world, but especially the British public of golf", said Rose.


"We have seen what he has done for many years, and we have all fallen in love with the man who was and how he played the game."


"It was great to help in any small as possible".
